My philosophy on physical fitness is a very simple one, with a "Common Sense" approach. I do not believe that physicaI fitness requires expensive equipment or gym memberships. I believe that physical fitness needs to become a part of your lifestyle. When you integrate your exercise with your daily routines and schedule, it becomes very easy to achieve your goals. When you are under the assumption that working out means a trip to the gym, that is when your plan will eventually fall victim to your busy and often hectic personal schedule. Although I am quite willing to train someone for as long as they want, the reality is that after the initial training takes place, most people only need to have periodic follow up sessions. I will work with you to teach you what you need to know to begin your journey, and then follow through with a safe and effective fitness regimen. The online training system in conjunction with a periodic review by me is a great way to continue with your training in a very cost effective way.
I offer a complete array of exercise and training options. I have available for your training needs a wide variety of equipment including TRX, dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, tubes, medicine balls, wobble board, BOSU trainer, physio- balls, jump ropes, combat ropes, cardio equipment and much more. I have equipment for speed, agility and quickness training such as ladders, plyo-boxes, and cones. All of this equipment can be incorporated into a circuit training program for group training sessions. Self defense training is available and can be incorporated into any regimen for a fantastic workout as well as teaching you how to protect yourself. The self defense training is reality based and will teach you how to handle real life situations. Due to the nature of this training, it is limited to those who are sixteen years of age and older and show sufficient maturity for this type of training and knowledge.. This type of self defense is particularly beneficial for women, as it is not dependent upon strength. Self defense training can be combined with a strength and conditioning program, or it can be taught as a stand alone option. These utilize either bodyweight or resistance routines in a 30 minute session. The classes are held Monday,Wednesday, and Friday at 9:15 am and Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 pm.
